The James Brindley FoundationThe James Brindley Foundation was launched following the cowardly and motiveless murder of James Brindley, on June 23rd 2017. James was attacked whilst chatting to his girlfriend on the phone, as he walked home alone. He died from a single stab wound to his heart.
James’ family are determined that, he be remembered as the inspiration for positive change in society, as he was an inspiration to so many of his friends.
The Foundation was launched in order to raise funds to deliver The James Brindley Full Circle Programme into schools and colleges within the borough of Walsall, and the wider West Midlands. The Programme is an educational tool for children and young people, and a screening and assessment tool for PHSE professionals. The Foundation is also a vehicle for raising awareness of the issues surrounding violent youth behaviour, and for lobbying for change.
