David is Professor in Interactive Systems for Social Inclusion in the Department of Computer Science at Nottingham Trent University. He holds two EU H2020 grants – ‘No One Left Behind’ and ‘MaTHiSiS’ to investigate the role of Digital Game Making to promote the inclusion of students with learning disabilities, and to investigate the role of Affective Computing in developing advanced Affective Tutoring Systems that also respond to the needs of students with learning disabilities and autism. His other interests include Virtual Reality, Accessibility and Serious Games. He is Conference Co-Chair for the International Conference on Virtual reality, Disability and Associated Technologies (https://www.icdvrat.org/ ).
