Kevin Kibble is Chief Executive at nurtureuk the national charity promoting and campaigning for all children and young people, especially those experiencing social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties, to have access to an effective nurturing education, an essential understanding of pupil’s needs, and evidence-based interventions.
Kevin was born in Suffolk and trained as an engineer before pursuing a successful career in publishing. Prior to joining nurtureuk in January 2013, Kevin was Chief Executive at Caspari Foundation, a charity providing educational psychotherapy for children & young people who need help to overcome emotional barriers to learning & development, and prior to that Chief Executive at Transplant Sport UK a charity promoting organ donation and transplantation using the British Transplant Games to highlight the benefits.
Kevin has over 30 years’ experience in management, communications and marketing, 21 of which have been working in, or in support of, the voluntary sector. Kevin is passionate about the power of education in effecting societal change and the rights of children and young people to an inclusive education. He is a regular presenter at conferences and events, and advises Governments, civil service departments, local authorities and schools on strategic approaches to supporting all children and young people in school.
Kevin is a Fellow and Founding Trustee of The College of Teaching, a Fellow of the Institute of Fundraising (IoF), and Chair of the IoF Nominations Committee. Additionally he is an executive coach and mentor with team and individual performance his major interests. A staunch supporter of animal welfare causes, Kevin also is a long-standing member of Saracens Rugby Football Club.
