Morten Jacobsen is an award-winning technology scout and teacher at Skolen ved Nordens Plads, which is a K-12 school for children with special needs in Copenhagen, Denmark. Morten is a trained teacher but for the last 10 years, he has specialized in finding and implementing technology in the educational sector. Morten’s main focus is on the possibilities that technology creates for students with special needs. At the moment his work revolves around robotics and virtual reality and the new dimensions these technologies bring to the educational sector.

In 2017 he won the prestigious “Teacher of the Year” award in Denmark and in 2018 the Innovation award in Frederiksberg Municipality. This year his work is nominated for an award at the National Centre for Public Sector Innovation.

Furthermore Morten is a sought after international speaker who among others has given presentations at Bett Asia 2019, The Education Show London 2019, Bett London 2018 and Singularity U Nordic summit 2017 in Copenhagen.
